Often, early childhood educators are the first to identify concerns about a child’s speech and language development. However, educators are often unsure how to broach their concerns with parents.
This ‘4P’ Teaching-Learning cycle is designed to prepare early childhood educators to effectively share concerns about a child’s speech and language development with parents.
This workshop can be delivered to a group of up to 20 educators in a 2 to 3 hour presentation.
Key Word Sign (KWS) is used to encourage and support language development in children and adults with communication difficulties.
This Basic Workshop will get you started using Key Word Sign (KWS).
You will learn a vocabulary of approximately 80 signs and understand more about how to use KWS. The training can be completed in a 1-day workshop, or be done over 2 or more sessions.
